Engineering Report preparation - Structural Drawings, Wind/Snow Load

If your local building department requires a geodesic dome calculation report or you need supporting documents for insurance/liability/other reasons, we got you covered with our engineering services.

This service includes:

• Geodesic dome structural drawings
• Site-specific snow and wind load calculations 
• Report that is ready to be submitted to your local building permit office or licensed engineer for approval
• Revisions and communication with your local building permit office or licensed engineer
• Revisions initiated by customer are subject to additional 250$ fee
• In case the dome is situated on a complex platform with other elements on it (hot tub, other structures), additional charges will apply

The calculations are done by our structural engineer with multiple years of experience in various structure evaluations including geodesic domes. 

If you require this report to be stamped by an engineer (licensed in your State/Province), please contact us before placing an order, additional charges will apply. 

DELIVERY—ALL-INCLUSIVE SHIPPING:

Our dome tent prices include brokerage, applicable duties, and import taxes, as well as shipping and handling fees up to your local warehouse or to a physical address accessible for commercial transport in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, or the contiguous United States.

The exceptions for each country are as follows:

● For the USA: Excludes Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and other territories.
● For Canada: Excludes Newfoundland and Labrador, the Territories, and Prince Edward Island.
● For New Zealand: available within the Auckland area; other destinations require a special quote; NZ GST and import tariffs are not included.
● For Australia: available within zip codes 2, 3, and 4; other destinations require a special quote.

Please note:

● We typically offer door-to-door delivery. However, if a customer’s location cannot be accessed by a commercial truck, we may arrange for pickup at the nearest available warehouse. In such cases, a docking fee may apply at the warehouse, and a disposal fee may be charged if crate or garbage disposal is required.

● Delivery to New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) may require up to an additional 14 days due to geographical location and logistical considerations.

● Delivery time: Typically, it takes 9–12 weeks from the moment you place your order with us to receive your dome tent.

● This product is exclusively available for purchase alongside a dome tent. For customers opting to purchase this product separately at a later date, shipping costs will apply.
